Ok....my two cents. I think that the US society is too "careful" about
giving themselves a "way out" when BFing is concerned. You often
hear...."I'm going to try." I personally think it's advantageous to step out
there and say, "I'm going to breastfeed." Period. Adds just a little more
insentive to find a way to get it right if you hit a rough patch.
That said.....yes it's her choice to remain private about it. Everyone
doesn't rise to the occasion of positive promotion of BFing naturally. :)
