I know I spoke to several of you about hoping to get my cousin to write an
article on breastfeeding in the New York Times Magazine. We had a discussion
about it, and he got the article approved, but someone else will be writing
it. I don't know much about her, but trust my cousin, and am hopeful that we
can get this lady some information that will help get positive press
regarding breastfeeding (especially extended BF) in the mainstream press. Let
me know if you have any contributions!

Dear Melinda:
Your cousin Daniel passed on your email address to me and suggested I get in
touch regarding a story about extended nursing I'm doing for a special
medical issue of the New York Times Magazine. We're hoping to compare the
attitudes toward and acceptance of long-term breastfeeding in the States
versus the rest of the world.
Daniel mentioned that you have some involvement in this area and might be
able to suggest some pro-breastfeeding websites to me. Also, I'm hoping to
talk to a few mothers who are currently nursing a child over the age of, say,
three and a half or four. I was wondering if you might have suggestions on
this front as well.
I'm sure you're busy, but if you had just a minute to share some thoughts,
I'd greatly appreciate it.
All the best, Sara Corbett (writer)
p.s. Daniel says hello!
