My experience:  Wear it upside down on your head, like a giant plastic
bonnet, with the handle under your chin.   It's hands free -- in fact if the
baby is in the sling you can be holding the hands of BOTH of your two older
children, and even have the diaper bag on your back at the same time! -- it's
not that heavy, and it gets you wonderful looks from the neighbors.  :)
