<<Many times parents
using Babywise but especially Preparation for Parenting (the religious
version of BW) will not tell their HCP that they are scheduling. They have
been taught this by their class leaders or GFI Contact Moms.>>
I did Ezzo with dd#1 while attending LLL, and adventually(after about a year)
dropped Ezzo. With dd#2 I called a "contact mom" to question her about the
AAP breastfeeding guidelines. I told her of the history #1 had with slow
gain and growth and told her my pedi wanted me to follow the AAP guidelines
for BF feeding "on cue" (I didn't use the word "demand") I was told "that is
his opinion and I have to think of my long term goals"
hhhmmm I thought my long term goal was a healthy child that is growing
whether she is sleeping at night or not. I of course just ignored this
"advice" and did my own thing.
Does anyone else feel that she was basically telling to ignore my doctor
advice/orders for the sale of what Ezzo thinks my long term goals should be?
