I had a very frustrating phone conversation yesterday with someone who just could not problem-solve a personal business issue for me. She could not even conceive of doing something outside of her little box. I told my dh about it today and said that I am confounded by someone who just can't seem to expand her world view b/c I am so used to talking with people who are problem-solvers (LC's, midwives, holistic practitioners, and Lactnetters, of course)!
Jennifer Tow, IBCLc, CT, USA, who before being a parent educator, was a graphic designer/photographer--my entire career then also depended on problem-solving.
