Hello,
I'm new to Lactnet and have been enjoying reading the (abbreviated)
subjects. I also belong to a listserv of dietitians, where I just got this
question. Does this sound like something in mom's diet? I have limited
hands-on experience with lactation help for others--mostly personal
experience with my 2 kids (no problems like this, thank goodness), and what
I felt was a very good CLC course a couple years ago.
Any help you can give me (and I can relay to her) is much appreciated.
Thanks--Kelly S. Beals, RD, CLC

Subject: no milk or soy for breastfeeding mom
Hi friends
Have a colleague whose newborn is vomiting and has frank blood in his
stools, and the pediatrician is recommending Mom going on a no milk no soy
diet (strictly breastfeeding). Does anyone have any resources,
recommendations, etc. to help with food lists, milk content of foods etc.
before I go searching this?
Thanks,
