I am meeting tomorrow with a mother pregnant with a baby with a congenital
heart defect. (I don't yet know what type.) She has been told she will not
be able to nurse the baby for a month, and would like to come talk to me
about how to best get her milk supply going once the baby is born. Can
someone please fax me (402-423-6422) the articles that exist about the
increased oxygen consumption/work of bottle feeding, so I can discuss these
with the doctors who will be involved in this baby's care?
Thanks so much-

Medical Director
