Oh Esther, that is all so sad. Did Israel vote/sign the WHO Code? tell
them that UNICEF won't let you talk about BF at a formula party! The
Lactation Consultant's Declaration: a personal commitment was written by
Debora Hill, I believe from FL.
There is also a version for doctors and another version for Pediatric
offices. JHL had 4 articles by Helen Armstrong explaining the Code. JHL
4(3), pp. 137141, 1988. and JHL 4(4), pp. 194-199 & JHL 5(1), pp.46-52,
1989 & JHL 5(2), pp.103-111, 1989.
IBFAN prints up books about code violations. Would they like to see their
hospital's name in print as a code violator? Good luck with your meeting
