No doubt another practitioner of homeopathy will have replied to you,
but pulsatilla is a homeopathic remedy that may well be indicated for
this client, although this is difficult to tell. Homeopathics are
indicated by temperament and complete pictures of recurrent, chronic
unbalances -- pulsatilla is a more common constitutional than most. I'll
let Jennifer Tow, etc. reply in more detail to you. My feeling is that,
although homeopathics are safe for children, they are ideally taken by
the mother (based on the whole mother-baby constitution) until solids
are started, both because of their mode of preparation and the psychic
meshing of the nursling relationship. After that, the child's picture
becomes gradually clearer. That is only my opinion, though, as my formal
studies of homeopathy (as opposed to my reading on the subject) are very
