ahh a question that I feel like I can answer! lol. With my second child I
pumped colostrum to get my labor moving, I stored it just like breastmilk in
the freezer, but only pumped for a few days before hand. I used that milk
first when it was needed in our milk rotation, and as luck had it I had a
friend that was having supply problems with her newborn and she was able to
use my stored colostrum. I never would have thought to take it to the
hospital with me, good idea though.
The whole sex organ thing is a state to state statute. In the state of IL
that is how the law reads.
