IBLCE Board is looking for 2 new members, a public member (not an IBCLC,
nurse, mother support group person, or someone who's career path is leading
to IBCLC. Pref someone who has used services of IBCLC or whose family
members have used IBCLC.)  Non nurse IBCLC, actively involved in educating
IBCLCs and other health professionals about BF and lactation mgmt.  (Can
not be specifically teaching courses for persons preparing for exam.)  #
year term with option to renew, volunteer (expenses paid).

They are also looking for Exam committee nominations.  These will represent
IBCLC in hospital, in community, educators, IBCLCs who trained through
traditional health professions and those who trained through
mother-to-mother support groups, a BF supportive ped, PhD researcher in
lactation, and the IBCLC who received the highest score on the previous
exam.  (That place is filled byTrudi Szallasi of Australia.  Other high
scorers we know are Rachel Myr, highest in Europe and Debi Page Ferrarello
and Diane Wiessinger and Deborah Sue Owens, tied for highest score in the
Americas. Isn't it interesting that these honors were spread all the way
around the world!!)
