Fiona asked for references on why human milk is better. I would
start with Marsha Walker's papers on "Hazards of Infant Formula"
Eash hazard is accompanied with references. Also the "Fact Cards"
available from Linda Smith each have references. A paper put out a
couple years ago by the Wisconsin Breastfeeding Coalition is full of
references. Perhaps someone reading this will have quick access to
how to get that list. (I know it can be downloaded from a web
site). Meanwhile, I will look for it at work and will post it later
if noone else has in the meantime.
