Last week I posted about Sanitarium's brochure on soy and the comparison
made between breastmilk, soy and cows milk formula (ie said babies grow the
same on them). I called their nutrition section to talk about it and found
that that particular section was a mistake that had arisen in translating
information from a brochure they had put together for health professionals.
I still had a lot of problems with what they had written but as would be
expected didn't get any further with that. However, I had also check out
their web pages and found information on diet and cancer etc and suggested
to them that these situations were obvious places to include discussion on
breastfeeding. They agreed and said they will look at that. I have an email
address and will be forwarding to them new research that is published that
might remotely fit into the realm of diet and health. So you never know what
might eventuate.
