I am not a nutritionist, but I have problems with the megadose recommendations in M. Shannon's book - especially while bfg.  We have one LLLL who had neurological complications from what was determined a B6 overdose from following Shannon's recommendation to take Optivite.  Shannon, later contacted for  opinion of this was reluctant to consider it and wanted the medical reports form the neurologist.  
Anxious to hear any opinions from the experts out there.

Check out Fertility, Cycles, and Nutrition by Marilyn M. Shannon.  This book
address this issue completely, references included.  Good luck!  ( I have no
financial interest in this book, but I have read it cover to cover many
times!)
