She sounds like Ezzo cross-bred with Mary Poppins. American's are
impressed by a British accent -- it strikes them as "classy."

On a more serious note, I've helped mothers in affluent neighborhoods,
where a "baby nurse" for the first month or two is considered a great
gift (very "classy"). An isolated new mother can certainly use
practical help with taking care of herself, meals and the house, and
there are some "post-partum doulas" that are very helpful in fostering
breastfeeding. But too many of these "baby nurses" tend to take over,
make the mother feel incompetent, and ruin the early trial-and-error
that gets breastfeeding started. It's pathetic how intimidated these
conscientious mothers are by someone who is technically their employee,
and how willing they are to hand their baby over to an "expert," after
obediently pumping to provide a bottle of breastmilk so they can "rest."

It's a bad start to an intimate relationship. After all, women don't
invite an highly critical "expert" along on their honeymoom to give them
helpful advice and pointers on getting to know their husband.
