I had a serious oversupply problem with my dd, now almost 9. This was not commonly discussed then, so I just kept trying things. Most importantly was nursing her upright in a sling during the day and lying across my chest at night. A side-effect of nursing her in the sling was that I didn't like wearing her on the right side, so I would nurse many feedings on the left side, then "catch up" on the right for the next several feedings. It was only in hind-sight years later that I realized how much this had helped. The other thing that helped tremendously was taking a calc/mag supplement (2:1 ratio).
Finally, I posted recently on this--about a year ago I began adding parsley to my veggies when I juiced them. Within a short time, I realized what I was doing to my milk supply! I have never read that juiced parsley is more or less effective than just eating it, but it might be, and is an easy way to get a lot of it (which may make it more effective). She can just add it to carrots if she is not a veg juice drinker--most people like that.
