Judy,
My corker reasons-to-wean for the Net Sneer:

A mom was diagnosed as having a heart murmur. The physician wanted her to
immediately wean her toddler to lessen the 'stress' on her heart! Further
testing showed it to be a totally benign condition. Fortunately, the mom
realized that finding a new way to parent her toddler would be far more of a
strain than continuing to breastfeed, and did not wean.

A babysitter is pressuring the employed mother of a 6 month old child to wean
her because she will not lay quietly in the playpen and will not nap on
demand. The baby "cries all day" because she is breastfed, according to the
babysitter. I recommended that the mother find a more attentive and nurturing
babysitter.
