This is a really interesting theory, and it makes a lot of sense to me.  I
have a very good friend with a child that has both a deadly peanut allergy
and eczema.  She has a banana allergy and a walnut allergy.  Her husband has
a pecan allergy.  So it does seem that family's with allergies seem to pass
those on, and I would say whether they breastfeed or not.
