Dear Elisheva, It is good to ask what parents were like as babies -helps
reassure. I had the opposite problem - hopelessly pudgy babies. It made
me feel good to look at daddy's and my baby pix. Dad was BF and I was bot
fed. Little pudges too! When people asked me what the boys ate
(completely BF) I'd say "rocks" with flaming cheeks. Of course today I'd
make sure they knew that they were totally BF :-) I wasn't so outspoken
then (ha).

Moms of pudgy babies have the opposite problem, everyone wants to put them
on a diet - well if you only nurse!! You should hear some of the
suggestions :-( I guess you can all imagine - everything from weaning to
timing feeds. Boo hiss.) As adults, 2 of my boys are slender (after my dad
and brother) and 1 is stout after dad's family. Interesting to see the
different shapes their BF babies are acquiring. PS: my daughter's and
d-i-l's babies were all pudgy(mostly BF, 2 bot fed) so far about 2/3
slender as pre & teens. Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
