Another thing to look at - has this 15 mo old always been on the 3-10
percentile for weight and 90 percentile for height ? Is she following her
own pattern? You are only supposed to compare a baby to herself, not all
the other babies in the US/world. I personally think babies who don't eat
any/much solids have a good reason, usually
allergies/intolerances/insensitivities. And I haven't ever met a healthy,
developmentally on-target baby who didn't eventually decide to
eat/wean/grow up :-) What's wrong with listening to the baby, rather than
a HCP who didn't get very much about nutrition in general/BF in particular
in med school? Sincerely, Pat in SNJ ( with too many years of experience
:-) Just had the big 60 folks :-(
