Another doctor willing to sacrifice bf. Presuming there is no hx of acne
prior to pregnancy, I think this mom is suffering from estrogen dominance.
She needs to speak with someone familiar with this, but you can find lots of
info on it through Dr. Lark's newsletter and website. I treat my own
patients with vitex, wild yam and natural progesterone cream, among other
things. This combo works wonders. If it is hormonally induced, then the
rebalancing will take a matter or a couple of weeks and she should notice a
big difference. I'm sure if you asked her about other "symptoms" there
would be more besides acne.
