Yes, I loved Cathy Fetherstone's input over the past day or two.
One of the African grandmothers in Slome's 1956 case series of relactation was definitely post-menopausal - in his words "past her climacteric". (The reference should be somewhere in the archives.) It will be interesting to see if Lactnetters from backgrounds where breastfeeding is the norm (LLL, NMAA, or their families) respond with a case or two from their own communities.
