I picked up a Jan. 2001 issue of "Parents" magazine while waiting for the
doctor this a.m. In an article titled "Tell Me Why," writer Barbara Solomon
asks "Why do babies have such sweet breath?" A quote from her answer: "Some
experts maintain that formula-fed babies have fresher breath than those who
are breastfed because formula leaves less residue on the tongue."
Would some of you "experts" like to respond?
My personal and merely anecdotal experience with hundreds of babies leaves
me with an opposite impression, but then I'm no expert!

article could have any relevance
