I would recommend Rescue Remedy for this mom, as I do for many of my
clients. It is in all natural food stores or nutrition centers. It is a
calming remedy that helps with anxiety and frustrations, as well as
facilitating a MER. Being a homeopathic remedy it has no side effects for
the user.
The dose is 4 drops either under the tongue for immediate effect or 4 drops
in everything the mother drinks throughout the day for general calming.
Rescue Remedy is my most-used product in my practice. It is effective and
totally safe for mother and baby. For your client I would recommend the
sustained use throughout the day.
It is a tincture (liquid) and requires a preservative. The one used in
Rescue Remedy is brandy. The entire bottle (10ml) is about 2 teaspoons and
the brandy is in a spring water carrier, and the bottle usually lasts a
week. Not to open the alcohol debate again but a mother using Rescue Remedy
is not taking in any measurable amount of alcohol.
