Good point! We had a similar experience when my first son was going on two
years. We had a devil of a time potty training because he had horrible
diarrhea from time to time. He also would vomit for no apparent reason.
After finally talking our ped into a referral to a specialist, a peds GI doc
tested his stool and noticed a bug. One that had lived there for some time,
got us a strong antibiotic and he was fine after that. Not that I recommend
that antibiotics are always the best route, I do think they have their
place. And in our case he would react to seemingly "normal" foods.
