I personally found that 2 hours per side didn't seem to be doing much,
and gradually upped it until I was doing 8 hours per side. I did this
for a few days (about 3-4) and then took it straight back down to about
2 hours per side when I saw a difference...but it took going to 8 hrs.
before I saw that difference.
Yes, we kept tabs on Sandrine's weight and everything...and she kept
doing fine throughout it all (she doubled her bweight at 3 months,
tripled it at 7.5 months).
It was REALLY handy to be able to nurse all night long on the same side
without changing...that much I can say for the 8 hour stretch! ;-)
