I had a client who also wore a bullet-proof vest and felt certain that it was
the reason for her decreasing milk supply. With her first child she had a
different job where she wasn't required to wear the vest. She was able to
keep up a good milk supply for many more months. I would suspect that, like
so many other variables, it may have contributed to the decrease but wasn't
solely responsible for it. I just remember thinking how awful it must be to
have to wear one, especially during all of our months with 90-100+ degree
days!
