Kirsten: While I agree IF the doc had only said "formula is a good as
breast" but she has also on several occasions made some not so nice comments
about IBCLCs (and me) and our thinking we know anything about anything.
When someone with fewer years training, experience and education slams mine
I have a very hard time holding back. One patient actually asked to see my
resumé after an encounter with this doc. I absolutely encourage patients to
investigate their practitioners, but this was someone who I had already
seen several times.
Thanks for taking the time to respond. It means a lot to me.
