 as I was reading you excellent post it occurred to me how we accept some
idiosyncrasies and not others. how many people travel with their own pillows?
how many people have a preference for the side of the bed that they lie on?
lights on or off? blinds drawn? heat up or down...

  we accept these in adults but not our children...
