Pulsatilla is a plant.  It is also known by pasqueflower, wind flower or
meadow anemone.  It is grown in Europe.
I suppose it could be used as a medicinal plant, but it is far more
commonly used in homeopathy.  Common uses:
colds, sinus problems with yellowish or greenish discharge,
conjunctivitis, nausea and vomiting.  It can also treat menstrual
complaints and depression.  In the literature I have, I see one use
during childbirth - labor that is progressing slowly or mother is having
a hard time coping emotionally.  After childbirth it can be used to ease
after
pains.  Most of the literature doesn't show a link to breastfeeding at
all.  Only one of my books - Homeopathy for Pregnancy, Birth and the
First Year (Miranda Castro)
says it can be used for too much milk.  I certainly wouldn't advise it
for increasing milk.
