I saw mentioned a few days ago, the use of an oral syringe for alternative
feedings. I have used this a few times, and have found it effective. The
advantage over the dropper is, of course, the baby cannot suck the contents
out. (Well, I suppose a real barracuda sucker could manage to do it.) The
contents must be pushed out with the plunger and the parents have really good
control over the flow. I have showed the parents to use it the same as
described with the dropper.
Smiles,
Merilee
who loves the quote about driving your teenagers crazy, been there already
and have really enjoyed it!
