"I am trying to raise my children to be easily shocked, deeply moved, highly
sensitive, filled with outrage. This means listening to the whining,
complaining, shrieking and shouting even if we feel we've heard it all
before.
Just tell me, how do you explain this to their teachers?"
If you raise your children to have these qualities, they'll explain it to
their teachers themselves, and they'll do it in well-modulated voices using
logically impeccable arguments, saving the special effects for home use. Go
for it!
Jo-Anne, may we have permission to spread your "10 second parent" mantra?
