Barbara mentioned the American Public Health Association conference in Boston
next week. There are a number of presentations and poster sessions on
breastfeeding. I am giving two of the lectures on breastfeeding and am
certainly an IBCLC! My presentations are on Monday evening on evidence based
practice and Wednesday evening on reimbursement for lactation care and
services. The APHA Maternal Child Section's committee on breastfeeding is
meeting Sunday afternoon. ILCA's representative to APHA will be there as well
as myself. If anyone needs the time and locations of these lectures let me
know.
