Another thing to feel guilty about??!!
Last year, when we were alone without a vehicle for long periods of
time, we did go out more often, and in rather severe weather. However,
when I saw the kids from the daycare across the street go out during
cold snaps (those -20C days that come in pairs, then go away peacefully)
I used to say to my kids, see... that's what you'd have to do if I had
an outside job!
Really, Linda, in Ottawa??? That's where you have to leave your car
running all night if you want to start it in the morning.
Breastfed babies don't need sun so much they can't wait a day or two.
Oh, and we also had the furnace up to 69, had regular meetings and
playgroups and kids bringing ambient illnesses home from school, and my
kids never got sick. So there.
