Jay Gordon raises a good point, and is probably quite right, as usual.
However, as a single parent, and in working with single moms, some of
the most serious concerns are raised by mothers who are parenting
"alone" , or at least alone at night, when their partners are working,
etc.
But, if there are two parents available, then the best time to talk
about this is prenatally; second choice is when the baby is sleeping.
Last choice is when baby is crying.
