We have to remember, also, that we are not always talking to the converted.
In fact, it is not our job to convert. It is our job to help when ask, and
speak the truth without judgement. It is good practice for us to see the
thoughts of a person who felt defensive...just like many of our own clients
might, and to see how our comments may be interpreted. I say speak the
truth, but make sure someone is listening first....
A note to newcomers: Lactnet is usually a very well behaved list. I urge
you to feel FREE to post your thoughts, and questions...and introduce
yourselves first.....I know that there are many folks here who love to help
newcomers, and remember..the occasional incident or outburst does not
define our list. All professionals, either experienced or not, are welcome
to comment at any time.
