A mother Pat Thomas is working with says, "I admit I wimped out and
offered him the left in the middle of the night, but he had a nice long
nurse when falling asleep last night on the right.>
I'd guess a plugged duct, but what I'm really thinking about is: three
mothers at our pro-breastfeeding Playful Learning Group (you have to
sign a paper saying you'll breastfeed the child you're accompanying
there until he gives you a really good reason not to... no, not really,
but we all would!) are all breastfeeding on one side only. Babies range
from 1 to 3. Is this common, or a skewed sample? (Any of my older
nurslings were twins, and don't count on this point).
