Again, I would like to state that I know of no one who uses the raw
herb. Pulstilla is only accessible in most areas as a homeopathic
remedy. The concerns raised about the liklihood of irritation associated
with it's use in this form are unfounded.
When a mom tells you she is using this remedy, be sure to ask in what
form before you jump down her throat! Unless she is growing it in her
back yard and making tea out of it.....there is little cause for concern
(if any.)
I hate it when well meaning professionals disempower people by stating,
in essence, if it isn't prescribed by an MD don't use it.

Pulstilla, BTW, is commonly used by naturopaths and naturopathic
midwives to turn breech babies. Works amazingly well, in my experience,
and has prevented many a Cesarean birth!
