I came away with the same impression a few years ago when the writer of the
article Dying for Milk, or whatever it was called phoned me to ask me about
the information he had received. I made the point very strongly, over and
over, that this happens to mothers who have plenty of milk, and the problem
is that the mothers are getting poor help in hospital and poor information,
and the problem is the system. As you said, he wasn't listening, just
wanted to know if babies do get dehydrated.
Truth doesn't matter, profits matter. The sooner we all learn that, we will
not be surprised so often.
