Sorry, but I may have just sent you the whole tail end of this particular digest. I was in the middle of responding to the postings on PP sterilization and had actually just finished my response but had not deleted the rest of the Lactnet Digest. Then all of a sudden I was at the main screen when you turn the computer on and had to reenter my e-mail and Lactnet. I hope I didn't send you most of a digest. If so, sorry! I am behind on my Lacnet reading and was just up to this thread on the 20th. As a Kaiser L&D RN (in the late 80's) we scrubbed for tubals and mom and baby were often separated an hour or less. The surgery itself took 20-40 minutes and was done in OB. Baby could be brought to the OBRR if hungry. I'm not repeating my whole original response, since I have already made this Digest way too long if my post went through before.
