My post to Kirsten's request to a LLLI hotline number and Mary Kay's
response may have been misunderstood. As leaders, no, we are not *required*
to be available to mothers 24 hours a day, However... If you volunteer for
LLLI hotline duty, you have the option to choose a night shift, or weekend
day shift. My point was that if you don't want to be called at 2:00am,
don't take the night shift. I was not referring to the regular
responsibilities of a leader.
No offense was intended, Mary Kay, and I apologize if my post sounded harsh.
I just don't want a mom to be afraid to call LLLI for help when she needs
it, day or night.
