Remember, folks, that CCK is released WHEN mom and baby breastfeed, not
IN
the milk---so far as I know, anyway. Sucking triggers the release in
the
baby, and so does food in the stomach. Breast/nipple stimulation
triggers
release in the mom.
For a non-IBCLC (who is working towards it, slowly) and LLL Leader, will
someone please tell me what CCK stands for? I am very interested in
this, I know of prolactin and oxytocin, but had not heard of CCK.
Thanks In Advance,
Robyn Paull
