I am assuming, Dr.Hertz, that THIS is your concern relative to this Mom's ca
ie. has the cancer spread into the breast itself. Obviously if the cancer was
not in this area eg. ovarian, breastfeeding could continue without question
until onset of chemothx, and I have seen this done, sadly, at least a few
times. Breastfeeding on the affected breast before treatment, I have heard,
depends on the type of cancer cell.
How on earth could the baby get cancer passed from the Mom through the
placenta, I have never heard of that!
