I had a thought while reading the posts on *trying* to breastfeed. I use
alot of analogies during my breastfeeding classes. The next time someone
tells me "I'm going to try to breastfeed." I'll ask them why they say it
like that, and they will probably say so and so wasn't able to
breastfeed. To that I will say "When I got married I knew alot of people
who had gotten divorced, but I never said -well, I'll try to stay
married." What kind of attitude would that be, think positive, with your
whole heart. Breastfeeding is a relationship between 2 people and no two
relationships are exactly alike so why think to compare yourself with
another couple. Even if your last experience wasn't positive, this is a
new relationship with another different person. Barb in Spooner, WI
