Here is another example of a baby who eventually latches on, for those who
don't believe. This baby was incredibly tough. Wouldn't latch no matter
what. After a few visits *I* was able to latch him on, but the mother
couldn't. Finally, yesterday, I got this email. Maintain a good milk
supply, and the baby will usually latch on between 4 and 8 weeks of age.

"I just wanted to let you know that my daughter Renee hasn't had a bottle in
3 weeks. She is 11 weeks old and a healthy 11 pounds. She pretty much
caught on to breastfeeding after 7 weeks. It was a gruelling first few
months but definitely worth it. Thank you for your advice and support. You
gave me the confidence to keep trying."
