I spent this week at the Am Public Health Association meeting in Boston.
Enjoyed Marsha Walker's talk on IBCLC services. I was able to go to 2 bfing
sessions and a poster session.
Several people have emailed me with some questions and I will be happy to
answer but will take a few days.I fell in Boston in a bathroom and in the
process, slammed the door on my hand. ( I had a huge tote bag full of books
on my shoulder and it fell off and I was trying to catch it). Ended up with
two dislocated joints, a fractured bone in my finger, a sprained wrist and
bruised parts in between. I didn't go to the hospital there, got back home
yesterday late and finally was convinced to go to the ER when I started
having shooting pains or numbness from my hand to my shoulder. Hurts like
heck! So I 'm taking a break from typing. I did all this with my left hand
only so excuse the mistakes.
Barbara Whitehead ( whoses husband thinks she is a real klutz!)
