I just finished giving comments at a  presentation on the North Carolinia
Healthy People 2010 Objectives. Breastfeeding is not addressed at all. I gave
testimony on how breastfeeding can play an important prevention role in
almost each of the focus areas. ( Cancer, infant mortality etc). Any one who
is interested in making comments can do so by going to the website<
www.healthycarolinians.org > and  click on the appropriate buttons.
One participant in the forum told me afterwards that when he heard someone
talking about breastfeeding, he knew it had to be me!!
