Below is a quote from a letter I just got, toddler is almost three,
breastfeeds when mom is at home, she works fulltime and stopped pumping at
work when he was two.
<Anyway, here is my question. I was gone from Adam for 3 1/2 days. Since I
got back, my right breast (always the right) has been sore when I nurse him.
I've gone 3 days with no problem, but I guess 3 1/2 felt like weaning to my
poor breasts. I got back Monday. I'm nursing him about 2-3 times a day. It
actually hurts kind of like when I thought I had a breast infection but I
think you said that I had something else. Anyway, I assume that more nursing
is the cure, even though it hurts. I admit I wimped out and offered him the
left in the middle of the night, but he had a nice long nurse when falling
asleep last night on the right.>
Anyone here have any good ideas about cause or cure.
