I remember in my classes reading about alcohol and it's transfer into
breastmilk, but I would never counsel someone to not drink at all. For some
moms a glass of wine is just what they need to relax therefore making it
better for the baby because they get the benefit of a relaxed mom with a
good let down :O) Speaking personally... when my oldest was 5 months old I
spent 3 days in Mesquite, NV, sleeping by the pool, sipping frozen drinks
and thinking "wow this kid is really sleeping well and being good since I
have been here" it didn't dawn on me until much later why he was being so
good!
