A few years ago I was going to add apage to my site of IBCLC's but several
people from this list expressed concern over the legal liability of it and
told me not to do it because it could be taken that I was recommending these
people and if they gave bad advice to someone I could be liable..... it
seems pretty far fetched to me, but I didn't do it.... what is the thought
on that now?
Thanks,
Cindy

As a service to people looking for LC services, it seems that it would be
prudent to list IBCLCs - to assure minimum standards of ability/practice -
and put a disclaimer under it stating that this is not an endorsement, just a
listing provided for their convenience. Doubt that there would be any
liability issues that way. What do the rest of you think?
